To denote the end of the year, we are clearing our "Latest News" from 2009 and dumping it here to serve somewhat as an archive. So here is a blast from the past:

Dec. 21, 2009:
Happy Holidays! We had a great get together with HUGE attendance, an excellent success! What a way to end 2009! And of course, you can read all about it here.

Dec. 12, 2009:
Our club sponsor Mr. Reed now has his very own fan page on Facebook! Click here to see it!

Dec. 7, 2009:
Japanese Club members are invited to the Gingerbread House party hosted by the German Club where students can build (and eat) their own gingerbread house creations. This party is next Monday, December 14th in Room C152. See Ms. Sommermeyer for more details.

Nov. 25, 2009:
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Just a quick reminder that the LAST JAPANESE CLUB MEETING OF 2009 is upon us! Be there December 17th at 2:15 in Room C147!
Nov. 19, 2009: Our first anime day of the year went really well, we look forward to hosting more in the future.

Nov. 4, 2009: Japanese Club meeting tomorrow at 2:15 in Room C147

Nov. 3, 2009: Ok, so I've been kind of lazy as far as updating this website (sue me), and a lot has happened since then: First, the October 22nd meeting plus the bonus field trip was an excellent success. You can read more about it here. The second thing that has happened was that our Club President Emily Taylor has stepped down. Mia Stanley will be the new Club President, with Clive filling in for VP. No word on whether we will select a fourth officer or not.

Oct. 9, 2009: The Japanese Club will be selling items at the Homecoming Kick-Off after school on Monday, October 12th. Club members' help for selling these items would be much appreciated. We want to draw some well-deserved attention to our booth and try to out-sell the other foreign language clubs that are also selling items. LET'S BEAT THE COMPETITION!

Oct. 1, 2009:
THE BEST MEETING SO FAR! HUGE TURNOUT PROVES THAT JAPANESE CLUB HAS BECOME ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR CLUBS AT WOODSIDE! Read all about this spectacular meeting here!

Sep. 30, 2009: IMPORTANT! THE OCTOBER 1ST MEETING HAS BEEN MOVED ACROSS THE HALL TO ROOM C146!  SAME DATE/TIME!

Sep. 28, 2009:
Japanese club officers to meet together after school and discuss next meeting, club meeting might be moved upstairs due to miscommunication snafu.

Sep. 25, 2009: Japanese high schools to be the topic for next meeting. Club President Emily Taylor will work on a PowerPoint presentation for this lesson.

Sep. 21, 2009: First Japanese Club meeting was a HUGE SUCCESS! You can read about it here!

Sep. 20, 2009: Japanese Club STARTS TOMORROW! CAN'T WAIT!
